Performance Assessment of Chirps, Persiann – CDR, IMERG, and TMPA Precipitation Products across Nepal

The observation of hydrological as well meteorological data is very essential for any kind hydraulic and study. In Nepal, due to the significant variation topography climatic characteristics it necessary establish stations densely, here only 231 are available handled by government organizations Department Hydrology Meteorology (DHM). Even though, many limitations, satellite useful water resources There so products but performance these varies from place place. this study, four i.e., Climate Hazards Group Infrared Precipitation with Station (CHIRPS), Estimation Remotely Sensed Information using Artificial Neural Networks (PERSIANN-CDR), Integrated Multi-Satellite Retrievals GPM (IMERG), TRMM Multi-satellite Analysis (TMPA) all over Nepal evaluated different elevation bands. each product Probability Detection (POD), Critical Success Index (CSI), Frequency Bias (FBI), False Alarm Ratio (FAR), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), Percentage (PBIAS). After analysis product, PERSIANN-CDR set gives a reasonable bands after bias correction.
